Your Career Still Works on Paper - But You’re Burned Out, Running on Empty, and Finally Thinking, “Enough Is Enough” - Even Though You’re Not Sure What Needs to Change

Aligned & Intentional: A Six-Week Guided Career-Design Experience for Accomplished Women Ready to Figure Out What Comes Next
Understand what’s draining you and what needs to change - without assuming burnout means you have to leave your career.
Explore the possibilities beyond simply staying or quitting, and make a decision you can trust based on what actually fits your life now.
Create a realistic 30-60-90 day plan to move forward with more energy, clarity, and intention - without blowing up the career you’ve built.
Next cohort begins soon | Limited to 15 women | Investment begins at $2,500
During a 30-minute fit conversation, we will discuss what you want to change, answer your questions, and determine whether the Core or VIP path is the right fit. We will also discuss anticipated cohort timing and your availability.
If Your Career Still Works on Paper - but Doesn't Feel Quite Right
You have built a meaningful career. You are capable, responsible, and still getting things done. Yet you may be noticing that work is taking more from you than it once did. Burnout is not always about the number of hours you work. Sometimes depletion comes from a mismatch between the work you are doing and what gives you energy, uses your strengths, reflects your values, or fits your life today. It can also come from an unsustainable pace, unclear boundaries, limited support, or carrying responsibility without enough control.

Your exhaustion is not a verdict that you must leave. It is information that deserves your attention.

You may not need to work less, abandon your ambition, or make a dramatic change. You may simply need the space and support to understand what is no longer working - and decide intentionally what comes next.
The Question Is Not Always Should I Stay or Go?
A career crossroads can lead to several thoughtful paths. The goal is not to push you toward one answer. It is to help you understand which answer fits you now.
Recommit - stay with renewed purpose and clarity.
Redesign - change responsibilities, boundaries, priorities, schedule, or the way you work.
Develop - build skills, relationships, visibility, confidence, or support.
Explore - gather information and test possibilities before deciding.
Transition - move intentionally toward a different role, organization, business, or path.
Sometimes clarity leads to reinvention. Sometimes it leads to refinement. Sometimes it helps you choose to stay - not because you are stuck, but because you evaluated the alternatives and decided on purpose.
The Aligned Career Design Process
Career clarity rarely comes from rushing. Inside Aligned & Intentional, we move through the work in an intentional order:
Pause - create enough space to hear what your experience is telling you.
Notice Patterns - identify what energizes you, drains you, and keeps repeating.
Name What Matters - clarify the values, strengths, priorities, and life realities that should guide your choice.
Explore Possibilities - widen your view, test assumptions, and gather useful information.
Take Aligned Action - choose a next step and turn it into a realistic plan.
This is what makes the program different from generic career advice, a personality quiz, or a resume- first process.

We begin with the person and life the career needs to support - and then translate reflection into action.
Collaborative Work Environment
What You Will Leave With
A clearer understanding of your current crossroads and the real source of the tension, exhaustion, or depletion.
A personal definition of success for this season - not one inherited from an earlier chapter.
Decision criteria grounded in values, strengths, energy, growth, impact, sustainability, and life realities.
A short list of realistic paths and small experiments that help you learn before you leap.
Greater confidence in your ability to make and communicate a thoughtful career decision.
A personalized 30-60-90-day action plan and the conversations, boundaries, or support needed to move it forward.
A process you can return to when life and work change again.
THE LASTING VALUE
You are not paying for more information. You are choosing to invest in your own clarity, confidence, and ability to make decisions that can shape your time, energy, relationships, and career for years to come.

You are not currently able or willing to participate and invest in the experience.
Meet Mary Tettenhorst, Your Guide Through Career Clarity and Change
I'm Mary Tettenhorst, Founder and President of Impact Talent Strategies. For more than 20 years, I have helped people and organizations think differently about careers, talent, leadership, and growth across corporate, nonprofit, and higher education environments.

I also know this crossroads personally. I spent years building a career I was proud of - and repeatedly telling myself I would create more space for my health, faith, family, and relationships 'next year'. My career choices have included pay cuts for meaningful experience, moves for growth, changes for family logistics, and eventually a carefully planned transition into business ownership. None of those decisions was perfect or impulsive. Each required me to decide what mattered in that season and what trade-offs I was willing to make.

That is why I will not give you a formula or tell you that leaving is the brave answer. I will help you ask better questions, see more possibilities, and build a decision and plan you understand and own.
